This class is designed for adults who are familiar with the foundations of ballet and ready for a faster-paced class.

We’ll build a new centre combination inspired by a different classical ballet throughout each session, supported by targeted barre exercises with attention to detail, placement, and safe and beautiful movement.

At the end of each 1.25-hour class, we have a bonus 30-minute stretch, for a total of 1.75 hours.

You don’t need to lose or gain weight. You don’t need to be flexible or have rhythm. You just need to be ready to have fun and learn together in a warm and supportive online environment!

Ballet Class FAQs

Intro to Adult Ballet is for folks who are new to ballet OR returning to ballet and wish to brush up on the foundations after a break.
Beginner 2 Ballet welcomes students who have completed Rosa’s Intro to Ballet series and become familiar with the foundations OR have similar past experience with other teachers.
Intermediate Ballet is for students who wish to move at a faster pace and are ready for the next level of challenge.
Floor Barre welcomes beginners through advanced dancers for ballet movements done seated and laying down, building core strength, turnout, and flexibility.

For the comfort of the current students, only class participants are allowed in the studio during class time.
However, Rosa offers free try-it classes a few times a year. Email Rosa to ask about the next one, visit the events page or sign up for Rosa’s email newsletter be notified!
Yoga/exercise clothing or traditional ballet wear are both welcome.
For footwear non-grippy socks, leather or canvas ballet, or jazz shoes are a good fit.
Tuition is non-refundable unless the class is cancelled by the instructor. All students can attend via Zoom or watch the class recordings at any time. Class recordings are available until a week after the session ends.
In case of serious illness or injury, students can defer to a future session with credit for remaining classes from the time that you email Rosa.
